Mac geeks all over the city are holding their breathe as reports say the tech giant inked a lease to build the first store inside Philadelphia.

Brasserie Perrier may have closed, but the sudden vacancy could mean happy times for Apple customers. Instead of having to make the trek from Center City to King of Prussia, you may only have to travel to 16th and Market.

That's right, Apple has reportedly zeroed in on the Center City location formerly occupied by Brasserie Perrier and according to MacNN, Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, the architect behind the New York, London and Toyko stores is set to design the new Philadelphia digs.

No further details have been given, but we'll keep you posted.
