This Concert's Going to be (Pea)nuts

The Cartoon Christmas Trio began in 1995 with the sole purpose of playing music from classic Christmas cartoons.

And this Friday, they'll be rocking you into the holidays with all your cartoon favorites like "Frosty the Snowman," tunes from "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and many more.

All three men are vets of the Philadelphia jazz scene and love to put the joy back in the holidays.

The concert is free and begins at 5:30 p.m. at Commonwealth Plaza.

Looking to extend the evening? Stick around for Peter Nero and the Philly Pops for Holiday POPS at 8 p.m. in Verizon Hall. Tickets range from $27 to $104.
