Morimoto unveils new Happy Hour specials.

Former Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto has always put his own mark on things; from the pod-like décor of his flagship restaurant Morimoto to his never-predictable omakase dishes. To carry this tradition forth, the restaurant is now offering a "Signature Hour" with specialty cocktails going for $6 each.

Those seeking Happy Hour refuge in the space-age digs can sip on Morimoto Martinis (a concoction of Morimoto junmai sake, vodka and cucumber slices), Lotus Blossoms, sparkling cider and Morimoto sake for a pittance. Now you’ll actually be able to afford the splurge for the omakase.

The offer is available Sunday through Fridays from 5-7. Happy Hour on Sundays? Unheard of -- but we like it!
