A sneak peak inside the Philly International Flower Show.

Tickets are already on sale for the 2010 "Passport to the World" themed Philly International Flower Show, taking place from Feb. 28 to March 7.

The show will exhibit exotic plants from all over the world, including places like Brazil, India and South Africa.

The featured exhibits are called "Garden Displays." They are full-scale gardens that have been recreated inside the Philly Convention Center -- some even include flowers that need to be forced into bloom using light for this very special show. Of course, awards are given to the best ones.

Also featured are arrangements and plants from individuals and garden clubs around the world.

Plant-lovers can also shop-til-they-drop at the show. The Marketplace features the work of more than 150 vendors and the all-new World Bazaar includes international goodies that you won't find anywhere else. Well, at least not in this country.

There will also be an International Wine and Spirits Garden and an International Dessert and Coffee Bar for the attendees who are more into food than flowers.

General admission tickets to the flower show are $23 for adults, $18 for students and $13 for kids. If you want to attend one of the Garden Tea seatings, tickets are $28.

The event is brought to you by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. All proceeds from the event go to the Horticultural Society and specifically to its Philadelphia Green program, which has served to promote green living and revitalize the city for more than 30 years.
