This Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Blue Cross RiverRink, take a lap around the rink with Santa and receive “Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who” goodies, including Santa hats with Horton ears, in honor of the movie coming out on DVD and Blu-ray Disc.
During the afternoon, Dan Blackman of B-101 will read Dr. Seuss’ classic “Horton Hears a Who” to all who join the festivities. Santa will arrive on the Spirit of Philadelphia and make his way to the Olympic-size rink where he will skate with visitors. He’ll retire to his throne and greet children throughout the day.
The RiverRink is located on Penn's Landing at Columbus Boulevard and Market streets.
