Meteorologist Sheena Parveen joined NBC10 in December of 2011. She can currently be seen forecasting the weather for NBC10 News at 11 a.m. and NBC10 News at 5 p.m. Parveen is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist, having received her CBM Seal from the American Meteorological Society in 2011.
Before joining NBC 10, Parveen was the lead forecaster and on-air Meteorologist for the Good Day Tampa Bay weekend morning show on WTVT, the FOX-owned station in Tampa, Florida. Parveen also reported throughout the week on environmental topics and hosted a pet adoption segment each Sunday morning with the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. Parveen began her career at WCTV as a Reporter and Meteorologist in Tallahassee, Florida.
A native of St. Petersburg, Parveen graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor's degree in Meteorology and a Minor in Mathematics. She resides in the Philadelphia area with her two dogs.
