Gator Found in Fish Pond

Pa. State Police

August 3, 2012: Little Rocky is about three feet long. He was found in a Berks County fishing pond and now needs a home.

Little Rocky needs a home.

A man in Mertztown, Berks County, found the alligator in his fish pond. Little Rocky -- all three feet of him -- must not be too intimidating though, because the homeowner got his kids to help him catch the little guy.

They put Little Rocky inside a box until state police arrived. So now the gator's at the Reading Barracks.

Police tell NBC10 they're calling around to places like the Lehigh Valley Zoo, trying to find a home for Little Rocky.
