According to a report from Philly.com, Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham is set to stay away from the team's organized team activities and possibly its minicamp until the team renegotiates his contract.

But there is "no contract dispute" and Graham is with his family in Detroit, a league source told CSNPhilly.com.

Graham didn't immediately respond to an attempt to reach him.

The source, however, wasn't able to say definitively that Graham would attend Eagles voluntary OTAs, which begin on May 23. The Philly.com report said Graham has stopped attending team workouts this spring.

Technically, a holdout wouldn't begin until the team's mandatory minicamp in mid-June. All the OTAs before then are voluntary, although most players attend.

If Graham doesn't show up to the minicamp in June, then it's a holdout and the team can fine him for each day missed. The total amount they would be able to fine him if he misses all three days is $80,405, per the CBA.

Graham, 29, is coming off a career year. While he had just 5 1/2 sacks, he was the team's best defensive end and got consistent pressure on the quarterback.

The 2010 first-round pick has two years left on his current contract, which will pay him a base salary of $6.5 million in 2017 and 2018, with cap hits of $7.5 million in both years. Graham signed a four-year extension in 2015.

While that seems to be solid money, it would be easy to see why Graham might want a new deal. He watched his linemate Vinny Curry sign a massive $46 million deal last offseason and then went on the field and out-played him. Then, the Eagles drafted another defensive end, Derek Barnett, with the 14th pick in late April.

Eagles OTAs are set to begin on May 23 and the mandatory minicamp runs from June 12-15.
