Eagles Cut DT Derrick Lott, 88 Players Now on 90-man Roster

Derrick Lott's short time with the Eagles came to a close on Thursday.

The team released the 26-year-old defensive tackle less than two months after they signed him for some depth across the interior defensive line.

Lott previously spent time with the Titans and Buccaneers in 2015 after going undrafted out of Tennessee-Chattanooga. Lott spent just a few weeks with the Eagles.

After cutting the 6-4, 314-pound tackle, the Eagles are left with Fletcher Cox, Bennie Logan, Beau Allen, Mike Martin and Taylor Hart as the veteran interior defensive linemen. The team also has three undrafted defensive tackles in Destiny Vaeao, Connor Wujciak and Aziz Shittu.

The Eagles have 88 players on their 90-man roster, so if they choose, they can add two players before training camp officially begins on July 25. The first full-team practice of camp is on July 28.
