A day after of snow and freezing temps shut down Game 3 of the Phillies-Rockies playoff series both teams will take to the mound Sunday night on Coors Field. The series is set to resume 10:07 p.m.
Phillies rookie J.A. Happ will get his chance to start in the first playoff game of his career.
The third game of the Phillies-Rockies National League playoff was postponed because of cold and snow in Denver. Major League Baseball rescheduled the game for Sunday night, with Game 4 pushed back to Monday also to be played in Colorado.
Game 5, if necessary, will be played as scheduled on Tuesday in Philadelphia, without a day off for travel.
A cold front moved into Denver Friday night, dropping temperatures into the teens with record lows for the date. Coors Field was covered with a thin layer of snow and ice Saturday morning and flurries continued through the night.
The best-of-five series is tied at one a piece.
