The Philadelphia Eagles have finally reached a deal with rookie wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, the team announced late Monday night.

Maclin will serve as an Eagle for at least five years, the team said. Monetary terms of the agreement have not been released, but the Daily News blog Eagletarian quoted sources setting the payout at $15.5 million in total with $9.5 million guaranteed.

The Missouri junior, who was tapped by the Birds in the first round of the 2009 draft, missed more than a dozen practices and a week of training camp as contract negotiations continued between his agent and the team.

He was the only player to remain unsigned when training camp began last Sunday.
