New Jersey Teen Accused of High School Weapon Threat

Police have arrested a 17-year-old Woodbridge High School student after they say he threatened to bring a weapon to school.

Authorities have not released the teen's name because of his age.

A police spokesperson told NJ.com the student was arrested Wednesday on charges of making false public alarm, unlawful possession of a weapon and making terroristic threats.

The school superintendent's office emailed parents that students were not in any danger.
