The woman was trying to escape a fire in her Germantown home when she jumped from a 3rd story window.
A woman was injured when she jumped from a window to save herself from the fire engulfing her home early this morning.
The 40-year-old victim broke both legs when she landed after jumping from a third story window on the 5600 block of Bayton Street in Germantown as she tried to escape a fire that broke out in her home just before 1 a.m., according to fire investigators.
She was taken to Einstein Medical Center where she is being treated for her injuries.
No word on what caused the fire.
