Authorities say a woman faked a heart attack while driving in southern New Jersey and then stole $60 from a Good Samaritan who stopped to help her.
Mount Laurel Police say the victim, identified only as a Moorestown man, was driving on Route 38 earlier this month when he saw a woman who was outside of her vehicle and clutching her chest.
When she told the man she was having a heart attack, he allowed her to sit in his vehicle while he looked for his cellphone to call 911.
But the woman soon told the man she felt fine, then returned to her vehicle and drove off.
The man later discovered that the $60 was missing from his vehicle.
