Delaware Police Raid Turns Up $36,000 Worth of Heroin

Police in Delaware arrested a Wilmington man after they found thousands of dollars’ worth of heroin inside his home during a raid.

Police executed a search on a home on the 900 block of Clifford Brown Walk around 8 p.m. Wednesday, Wilmington Police revealed Friday.

Inside, officers found 58.5 grams of heroin spread out over 3,900 individual baggies, according to investigators. The drugs have a street value of $36,610.

Officers also seized 24 grams of marijuana – worth about $240 -- and a loaded Browning .32 caliber handgun, investigators said.

Officers arrested Ryan Briscoe and charged him with heroin trafficking, other drug and weapons charges.

Briscoe was sent to county jail unable to post 155,500 combined bail.
