Temple students beware. If you live off campus, you want to think twice before you answer the door. Police say two gunmen are targeting students.
Here’s their M.O. -- The gunmen knock on your door. When someone answers, they force their way inside.
One of the suspects corrals anyone in the home into a room while the other gunman rifles through the house and makes off with any valuables.
The pair is taking credit cards, cash and even a laptop computer. Police won’t say how much cash they’ve made off with to this point.
There have been five home invasions since October 15. All in one general area: 18th to 20th Streets between Montgomery and Norris Streets.
