A teenager is in the hospital after police say he tried to rob a man in a wheelchair but was stopped by a Good Samaritan.

It happened shortly after 5:30 p.m. on the intersection of 29th and Dauphin. Police say three teenage boys tried to rob a 49 year-old man in a wheelchair.

As they attacked, a Good Samaritan intervened, according to investigators. Police say the Good Samaritan stabbed a 15-year-old suspect in the chest while the two other teen suspects fled. The 15-year-old was taken to Hahnemann Hospital where he is in stable condition. Police are still searching for the other teen suspects.
