Some residents in a Northeast Philadelphia neighborhood woke Thursday morning to find their homes did not have running water after a main break overnight.
Neighbors on the 6300 block of Gillespie Street in the city's Tacony section had no water after an 8-inch main break caused water to flood nearby sidewalks and yards, according to officials.
Philadelphia Water Department crews are working to fix the broken main, but it is unclear when the problem will be resolved.
