Less than a week after going on strike, teachers at three South Jersey Catholic high schools have reached a tentative agreement with the Camden Diocese.

The diocese announced the deal Thursday night, several hours after negotiations resumed. Details were not disclosed.

The teachers at Holy Spirit in Absecon, Camden Catholic in Cherry Hill and Paul VI in Haddonfield were due to vote on the agreement Friday. If it's approved, the teachers would return to work Monday.

Teachers went on strike this week in a dispute over raises and health benefits. The schools remained open on a modified schedule, staffed by administrators and substitutes.
