Stray Bullet Hits Woman in Bed

A bullet pierced the front of a Chester home Sunday night, hitting a woman in the head as she slept in her bed on the second floor.

The victim, 49, was hospitalized in critical condition.

Police think the bullet may have come from gunfire down the block at West Union and Franklin Streets.

Investigators were trying to figure out who fired the bullet.
