Storms bringing heavy rain moved into our area and could last throughout the week.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was in effect for northwestern Montgomery, central Chester and southern Berks counties until 8 p.m.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms hit the Philadelphia area around 7 p.m. while storms hit South Jersey around 8 p.m.
Heavy rain will continue overnight into the Monday morning rush and scattered showers should remain throughout the day. More strong storms are possible for the area for the rest of the week.
