U.S. Senate candidates Steve Lonegan and Cory Booker squared-off in a live televised debate on Oct. 9 on NBC10.

The two candidates went head-to-head as they seek the office of N.J. Senator. The debate was moderated by NBC10 anchor Jim Rosenfield.

A special election takes place Oct. 16 to fill a vacancy after the death of five-term Senator Frank Lautenberg in June. The winner will govern for the remainder of Lautenberg's term, which ends on January 3, 2015.

The debate took place at Rowan University in Glassboro and aired live on NBC10 and right here on NBC10.com
