Small Fire Evacuates Please Touch Museum

The museum will open Saturday, May 18th at 9:00 a.m.

The Please Touch Museum was evacuated this afternoon after a fire broke out near the kitchen on the ground floor of the museum.

Skyforce10 flew over the scene on the Avenue of the Republic in Fairmount Park.

Fire officials say the situation was placed under control just after 3:30 p.m.

No one was injured.

The museum will be open to visitors on Saturday, May 18th at 9:00 a.m.
