A deadly shooting left a young man dead in West Philadelphia overnight.
Police said officers responded to Paxon Street near Market just before 10 p.m. Saturday for the report of a man shot on that block. When they arrived, they found the 24-year-old victim suffering from several gunshots throughout his torso and head, police said.
Medics pronounced the man dead at the scene at 10:06 p.m.
Police have not yet released the man's name or said what they believe motivated the shooting. Detectives are investigating.
