Authorities in central Pennsylvania are seeking witnesses to a collision between a sport utility vehicle and a train that killed a woman and injured two other people over the weekend.
Officials in York County say the northbound train hit the passenger side of the SUV shortly before 5 p.m. Saturday in Newberry Township.
Police said 23-year-old Cori Sisti of Mechanicsburg was pronounced dead at the scene. A man and a 2-year-old child were also injured.
Police said the car had turned onto a Susquehanna River access road that crosses the tracks at a point where there is no crossing gate or lights.
Norfolk Southern spokesman Dave Pidgeon said the train's crew sounded a horn before the crash, which pushed the car about 75 yards on the railroad tracks.
