A 92-year old Mercer County woman is recovering from an attack in her own home.
Ewing Township Police say they found the elderly woman bound and beaten in the basement of her home along Manor Drive around 10 a.m. Monday.
They believe two masked men ransacked the home for items to steal, then assaulted the victim before tying her up.
“It’s really sad. I guess it can happen in any neighborhood, anywhere. I guess we just have to be very cautious,” neighbor Josephine Prete.
Police are looking for the robbers. This is the second home invasion in Ewing Township this month.
