Prostitutes: Debit or Credit?

You'll have to pay to advertise erotic services on Craigslist

A popular Internet Web site is cracking down on advertisements posted by prostitutes and human traffickers.

Craigslist struck a deal with law enforcement officers in 40 states, including New Jersey and Pennsylvania, to monitor ads that are posted on the "erotic services" section of their site.

Anyone who posts an erotic services ad will now be required to provide a phone number and pay a fee with a valid credit card.

If subpoenaed, the Web site would provide the information to law enforcement.

Craigslist posts 30 million ads every month from anything from jobs to apartments for rent.
