Seen This Jeep? Police Seek Help in Fatal Shooting



    The Dover Police Department is looking for a maroon four-door Jeep that may be involved with a fatal shooting.

    The police seeks the public's help and would like to talk with the driver of the vehicle. 

    The shooting occured in the area of South Kirkwood Street about 4 p.m. Sunday, according to the Dover Police Department Facebook page. One person was shot and killed. 

    The Jeep in question has Pennsylvania tags with the license plate number starting with "JDP."

    Police say the suspect vehicle was fleeing the scene. Police did not release any additional information about the crime.

    This is the city's second fatal shooting Sunday and only the third homicide this year. In the first incident, which happened around 1:30 a.m., a 24-year-old man was killed and a 25-year-old woman injured when shots were fired after a party on Simon Circle.
