Alissa, who is 4 feet 9, 112 pounds and thin with brown eyes and curly black hair, was last seen at her home on Germantown Avenue near Rowan Street about 10 p.m. Thursday, police said. She was last seen wearing a red shirt and blue pants and attends school at Edward T. Steel Elementary, on Wayne Avenue about a block from her home.

Police asked that anyone with information on Alissa's whereabouts contact Northwest Detectives at 215-686-3353.

Also on Wednesday, police announced that they found another 13-year-old girl who was missing -- in an unrelated case -- safe. Hanniya Mitchell had disappeared Monday morning but was found safe by Wednesday, police said.
