Deadbeat parents in the area weren’t feeling the love this Valentine’s Day.

The Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office conducted a roundup of local moms and dads who have failed to pay their child support.

It began Monday at 3 a.m. and ended around 7 a.m. as police searched for parents who owed between $200 to $200,000.

It was a five county operation between Philadelphia County, Bucks County, Chester County, Delaware County and Montgomery County.

10 people in all were arrested with some immediately being brought to family court.

“For those that didn’t pay and still continue not to pay, this is an ongoing operation,” said Sergeant Vernon Muse of the Philadelphia Police Department.

“The knock at the door is coming.”
