A car driven by a corrections officer struck and killed a pedestrian Friday night.
A 54-year-old man was crossing the 9200 block of State Road when he was struck by a southbound vehicle.
Alcohol was not involved in the incident and the driver was properly licensed.
No charges have been filed at this time.
