Officer Struck by Cop Car During Chase

Investigators say a Narcotics Officer was struck by a police car while chasing two suspects on foot.

A police officer is recovering in the hospital after being injured while chasing down two suspects, according to investigators.

It happened Monday night on North Broad Street around 8:43 p.m. at Temple University.

Police say a Narcotics officer was chasing the two suspects on foot when he was struck by a police car.

The officer suffered bruises and a broken finger. Police say they were able to apprehend the two suspects and take them into custody.

The officer was taken to Temple University where he is currently in stable condition.
