A big accident has the New Jersey Turnpike shut down in Hamilton Township.

New Jersey State Police say the northbound lanes of the turnpike were closed around 9:30 this morning when a car, dump truck, charter bus and tractor trailer collided.

Two women were trapped in the car, but they were not seriously injured. Some of the passengers on the bus also complained of pain.

Traffic backed up for more than two miles. Drivers are being diverted off Exit 7.

No word on what caused the accident.
