Main Line Teen Dies After Falling Off Roof of Main Line Home

A Main Line high school is mourning a teen who died after falling off the roof of his parent's Montgomery County, Pennsylvania home.

Graham Dixon, 14, died Saturday after slipping from the top of his family's home in Gladwyne, Lower Merion Township Police tell NBC10.

Police would not say what the Harriton High School freshman was doing at the time of the fall.

Classmates described Dixon as an "extremely cheerful and wonderful guy." Dixon's brother, Caleb, is a senior at the school.

"Words cannot convene not only the extreme grief and sadness that his passing brings but also all the great memories that we all will remember him by," the Harriton High School Student Council wrote in a statement on their website.

Police spokesman Tom Walsh called Dixon's death a tragic accident and they do not suspect foul play.

Harriton High School officials sent a letter to parents notifying them of Dixon's passing. The school is offering counselors to students and staff.
