A western Pennsylvania man has been arraigned and jailed after U.S. marshals arrested him on a charge of fatally shooting another man at the suspect's own birthday party.
Sharon police say marshals arrested 31-year-old Michael Bagnall in Pittsburgh on Monday night.
Online court records don't list an attorney for Bagnall, but show he was arraigned early Tuesday by a district judge in Sharon, about 60 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.
Bagnall must appear before the same judge for a preliminary hearing on a charge of criminal homicide March 13.
Bagnall was celebrating his birthday with friends when he pulled a gun during a disagreement and shot 23-year-old Jaylen "Bubby'' West about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, police said.
U.S. marshals joined the search for Bagnall because it was initially believed he might flee to Ohio.
