Man Dies After Wandering From Home During Storm

A 60-year-old Wilmington, Del. man who suffered from dementia died yesterday after wandering from his home, Wilmington police said.

A family member found the man shortly before 9 a.m. Saturday partially buried in the snow at the corner of Brown and Stroud streets. It appears the man had left his home sometime during the night.  

Family members immediately began CPR and called for medical help. Paramedics arrived a few minutes later and continued CPR. The victim was transported him to Wilmington Hospital and pronounced dead at 1:15 pm.
