Man Charged in Naked Swim at Del. Apartment Pool

A Newark man is facing charges for swimming naked in an apartment complex's swimming pool.
Newark police say the 17-year-old lifeguard at the Pine Brook Apartments noticed that 42-year-old Dean Rissler was swimming without swim trunks on Monday. When she told him to put them on, he did.
But minutes later, police say the lifeguard saw Rissler's trunks on the edge of the pool and Rissler in the pool doing leg lifts.
The lifeguard told him to put his suit on again, and then called police.
Rissler is charged with two counts of second-degree indecent exposure. Court records show that Rissler told officers “that he knew what he did was wrong” but when he was asked why he did it, he replied that not wearing trunks was “less restrictive.”
Rissler was released on $1,000 bail.
