Man Beaten, Stabbed to Death With Screwdriver in Bucks County

Authorities have two persons of interest in custody in connection with the Sunday morning beating death of a man in Bucks County.

A neighbor spotted a commotion around a white cargo van near a wooded area along Post Road and Pennsylvania Avenue in Morrisville, Pennsylvania around 8:15 a.m. and alerted police, according to officials.

"My officers were here within seconds of the call," said Morrisville Police Chief George McClay.

When police arrived they discovered the two persons of interest and the body of a man, who had been stabbed multiple times with a screwdriver and beaten, along the side of the road, investigators said.

Authorities said they are still searching for a third man, who may have been involved in the deadly beating.

Police are unsure of a motive at this time but told NBC10 it appears the murder was not random and the victim knew his attackers. They are currently looking through surveillance video for more evidence.
