Lawyer for Man Paralyzed During Police Interaction Presses for Full Arrest Video

Camden County officials are pushing back against complaints that police officers brutalized two men in Camden in June.

A lawyer for two men who have sued the county police force held a news conference on Friday calling on authorities to release further video of the arrest of 21-year-old Xavier Ingram in June.

He was paralyzed during an interaction with police.

Authorities say it was because he slipped on wet pavement as he was running away from officers.

Ingram's lawyer contends officers stepped on his neck and back, causing the injury.

County government spokesman Dan Keashen calls lawyer Beth Baldinger's actions "theatrics."

The county prosecutor's office says the case is under investigation but previously said there was no evidence of excessive force.
