A two-car crash left one person dead and three others hurt overnight.
The cars collided around 11 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-295 near the West Deptford exit in Gloucester County, N.J.
Two people were medivaced from the scene, according to New Jersey State Police. It's unclear if one of those people was the one who died.
Police didn’t release the names of the crash victims. They also didn't release the conditions of the survivors.
The left and center lanes of the highway were blocked as rescue crews worked on the scene, according to police.
At least one of the vehicles involved was a white sedan that appeared to have heavy damage to rear and side.
The cause of the wreck remained under investigation Thursday morning.
