A local bank executive died after falling from a moving golf cart, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Frank Papotto fell from the passenger side of the cart as he was reaching for his cell phone. He was playing in a charity event at the Rancocas Golf Course in Burlington County Friday night.

Papotto, 44, was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital where he died of a traumatic brain injury. Papotto, from Moorestown, was a Senior Vice President at TD Bank.

"His passing has come as a huge shock for all of us," bank spokeswoman Rebecca Acevedo told the Inquirer. "He was an icon at Commerce Bank, and now TD Bank."

Papotto had worked at the bank since he was a teenager, the paper reports.
