Police say two people are lucky to be alive after they fell into the Delaware River.
It happened on Delaware and Allegheny Avenue in the Port Richmond section of the city. Police say the duo fell off a dock into the river.
Rescue crews arrived at the scene and were able to rescue the two. One of the rescued people is a 41-year-old man who was in respiratory distress, according to police. Both people were transported to the hospital where they are in stable condition.
