Delaware Police Warn of Spike in Car Break-Ins

Wilmington Police say there's been increase of thefts from motor vehicles and are warning drivers to keep valuables out of their cars.

Police said Friday there's been several incidents in the last two weeks where thieves have broken into cars by damaging or even removing windows.

Items that have been stolen include sunglasses, EZ-passes, GPS devices and loose change.

Police said a large number of thefts have focused on newer model Audis.

Police are asking anyone with information about the break-ins to contact authorities.
