Trenton police are investigating the reason why a woman’s body was dumped, naked, inside a dumpster in an alley in Trenton.
According to the Trentonian, police found the naked body in a dumpster on the 800 block of South Broad Street between Roebling Avenue and Hudson Street. They launched an investigation around 2 a.m. on Thursday.
“Yes, we can confirm the discovery of a nude woman found inside a dumpster. And it is a homicide,” Acting Police Director Joseph Juniak told The Trentonian.
Within hours of finding the body, police took an unidentified 20-year-old man into custody, reports the paper.
Police say the area is known for prostitution.
