Car Vandals Terrorize South Jersey Towns

Police are investigating Vandalism in Audubon, Oaklyn and Haddon Township.

Police are investigating a rash of car vandalisms in at least three different south Jersey neighborhoods.

Authorities say that just before 4 a.m., vandals smashed the windows of five cars parked along Taylor Avenue in Audubon. They also say that at least eight cars were vandalized overnight on various streets in Oaklyn – including East Clinton Avenue and Cold Springs Road – as well as three in Haddon Township, also on Cold Springs Road.

Police believe that the vandals used baseballs bats to destroy the windows. One witness tells police that the suspects were driving while damaging the vehicles.

Police describe the suspected vehicle as a dark-colored SUV, possibly a Jeep.
