A car salesman faces homicide-by-vehicle charges for a test drive in which one of his passengers died, according to the Lancaster New Era and Intelligencer Journal.
The paper reported Friday that 48-year-old Michael Hershey of Landisville was also charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, reckless endangerment and driving at an unsafe speed.
The December crash killed 48-year-old Jon Christian Jensen of Leola, a nurse who was the administrator of health services at York County Prison.
Jensen's 20-year-old son, college student Tyler Jensen, was also injured when, police say, Hershey swerved to avoid a truck, hit an embankment and flipped the Mitsubishi Lancer.
