CBS 3 News Anchor Out of Job
The network has conducted its own investigation into Mendte's e-mail scandal.

CBS 3 news anchor Larry Mendte is out of a job.
Mendte has been off the air since late May when the FBI searched his home and seized his personal computer.
The FBI wants to know if Mendte accessed and read former co-anchor Alycia Lane's personal e-mail account.
Lane was fired in January after an altercation with New York police.
CBS 3 said Mendte was fired Monday, after the network conducted its own investigation into the e-mail matter.
Mendte has worked at CBS 3 since 2003.
Prior to that, he spent six years at NBC 10.
