Ex-Boychoir School Dean Charged With Sexual Assault

Authorities have charged the former dean of students at The American Boychoir School in New Jersey with sexually assaulting a boy.

U.S. Marshals arrested 55-year-old Thomas Curran in Woodstock, Ga., where he waived extradition.

Curran is held in New Jersey on $250,000 bail, charged with sexual assault and child endangerment. He's scheduled to appear in court on Friday.

Authorities say Curran had inappropriate sexual contact with the 11-year-old between April and June while Curran acted as an after-school caregiver in the boy's West Windsor home.

In addition to dean of students, Curran also taught science at The American Boychoir School. The school, in Plainsboro, says it provides training for musically talented boys.
