A body is found in a burning car in rural Chester County after reports of an explosion. Police believe the victim committed suicide.
Police are investigating the death of a man found inside a car in Chester County.
On Wednesday emergency crews received a call for a car fire behind a building on the 3200 block of Phoenixville Pike in Charlestown .
When they arrived they discovered a body inside a burned out Red Sedan.
"We're pretty sure we know who it is," said Corporal Michelle Swantner of the Pennsylvania State Police. "However, pending autopsy results as well as notifying next of kin, we're not releasing the name of the person at this point in time. Also we're probably looking at a suicide."
