Baby Boy Killed, 3 Hurt in Crash

Police are investigating a car crash that left a baby boy dead and three other people injured.

Police say 30-year-old Cheryl Gould of Tabernacle, NJ was driving a Hyundai westbound on Klockner Road in Hamilton on Wednesday around 3:20 p.m. Gould’s 5-year-old daughter, 28-month-old son and 50-year-old friend Marion Bonfonti were passengers in the car at the time.

Police say Gould was approaching the intersection at Whatley Road while 34-year-old Drew Bruschi was driving his GMC Sierra truck eastbound on Klockner. Police say Gould made a left turn onto Whatley but didn’t notice the GMC Sierra approaching.

Police say Bruschi spotted Gould turning left and tried to avoid a collision by steering left. The front right portion of the GMC then struck the passenger side of the Hyundai, according to police.

Police say Gould’s 28-month-old boy was killed in the crash while Gould, her daughter and Bonfonti were injured and taken to local hospitals. Police have not yet revealed their conditions.
